GESPASA replacement cartridge kits: the key to an efficient, long-lasting and safe filtration system
GESPASA offers complete kits of genuine filter elements compatible with its range of microfilters, designed to maintain original performance without having to replace the entire unit.
The replacement filters are specific for diesel, gasoline or biodiesel, and enable a quick replacement thanks to easy-to-handle designs with a screw-on closure.
Key benefit: They guarantee system efficiency over the long term, reduce maintenance time and maintain optimal flow without compromising fuel quality.
In any fuel supply system handling diesel fuel, gasoline or biodiesel, filtration is a critical, essential component.
It is not only about preventing impurities from entering, but also about ensuring the protection of every element in the hydraulic system: pumps, meters, dispensers, valves and, ultimately, the engines that use that fuel.
Effective filtration is synonymous with operational efficiency, technical durability and safety at every refuelling operation.
GESPASA replacement filter cartridge kits have been specifically designed to maintain the original performance of FG 150, FG 300, FG 450 and FG 1000 filters, without having to replace the entire unit.
Thanks to their accessible screw-on design, these kits allow for a quick and easy replacement, significantly reducing maintenance time and preventing costly downtime in logistics or industrial operations.
Maximum compatibility and guaranteed performance
Each GESPASA replacement kit includes a genuine filter element made from high-strength materials, designed to withstand the effects of diesel fuel, gasoline or biodiesel.
With a filtration rating of 50 microns, these cartridges trap solid particles, rust, storage or transport residues, preventing them from entering the pumping system.
The dimensional accuracy and perfect fit ensure that the cartridge is correctly installed inside the filter body, maintaining the nominal flow (150, 300, 450 or 1000 l/min depending on the model) without creating pressure losses or internal turbulence.
This results in a steady flow, without fluctuations that could affect the operation of connected equipment.
Active system protection
Using high-quality genuine replacements is crucial to preserve the service life of pumps and meters, especially in installations that operate intensively, such as on-site refuelling stations, agricultural operations, logistics fleets or distribution plants.
Poor filtration can cause particle build-up in valves, damage measurement mechanisms, or even lead to major breakdowns in engines and machinery.
GESPASA cartridges not only protect these components, but also directly help to reduce the system’s energy consumption (thanks to lower resistance to fluid flow) and improve measurement reliability, which is essential when accounting for consumption, allocating costs or auditing operations.
Operational efficiency and simplified maintenance
Regular replacement of the filter cartridge is part of smart preventive maintenance.
Instead of replacing the entire filter, it is enough to replace the internal cartridge, which represents significant cost savings over the long term and a more sustainable way to keep installations in perfect condition.
Thanks to the screw-on closure system, the replacement process is quick, clean, and requires no special tools or advanced knowledge.
This enables operators to carry out the operation independently, minimising stoppages and maximising system availability.
Fuel quality = energy efficiency
The quality of the fuel supplied directly impacts the performance and longevity of engines.
Clean fuel, free from impurities, not only improves combustion, but also reduces wear on injectors, secondary filters, combustion chambers and aftertreatment systems.
For this reason, filters and their replacements act as a preventive technical investment that reduces future costs in mechanical maintenance.
In addition, in contexts where biofuels such as biodiesel are handled—more sensitive to degradation and particle carryover—the role of the filter is even more important.
GESPASA has developed its replacement kits with materials compatible with these types of fluids, ensuring their integrity and performance.
The GESPASA FG range offers a comprehensive filtration solution for fuels and aqueous fluids, covering everything from gasoline and diesel fuel to biodiesel blends and AdBlue®. Under the “GESPASA FG: fuel and AdBlue® filters” approach, the catalogue integrates micron ratings and filter media specific to each application, with water-absorbing options, high-efficiency fibreglass and stainless mesh for prefiltration.
Models FG-70 to FG-1000 allow filtration to be configured according to chemical compatibility and the treatment objective: removal of fine particles, absorption of free water or hydrophobic settling. In FG-300/FG-450 assemblies and in parallel units FG-700/FG-1000, cartridges range from 2.5 µm (fibreglass with β≥1000) to 100/200 µm mesh for initial stages, including 3/5/15 µm absorbent elements (β≥1000) and a non-absorbent 50 µm cartridge recommended for biodiesel. For AdBlue® and aqueous-fluid applications, FG-100BLUE ensures dedicated compatibility with a 25 µm rating, preventing cross-contamination with fuel cartridges.
This modular architecture provides clear advantages over monolithic solutions: precise cartridge selection by fuel (gasoline, diesel fuel, ULSD, BIO up to B20) and function (water absorption, impact, prefiltration or high efficiency), operational continuity thanks to dual-element parallel units, and simple maintenance through standardised replacements. Sectors such as agriculture, civil engineering, fleets, logistics, internal service stations, workshops and industrial fluid processing benefit from consistent, adaptable and safe filtration.
In summary, GESPASA FG-70 to FG-1000: 2.5–200 µm cartridges, and FG-100BLUE and FG-300/450: filtration for BIO and water together form a versatile range to ensure supply quality, protect pumps and meters, and extend equipment service life.
